Thanks to its special velvety surface, Mi-Teintes® Velvet paper is perfect for cake work. Several layers of pigment can be applied, avoiding saturation effects. Its texture retains pigments very well without the need for fixative. This paper is ideal for working with soft or dry cakes to play with the thickness, or with pencils for greater accuracy. It offers the possibility to create perfect colors without stratifying from the first application. It is less abrasive than a sandpaper, so less pigment is used. Mi-Teintes® Velvet is also resistant to wet techniques, especially when applying a base with paint.
